Fans of “The Legend Of Korra” are already raving about the leather paint job in “The Princess and the Frog,” and this week they got a taste of it in an Instagram photo from the series’ first episode.
While fans are definitely going to be enamored with the stunningly rendered leatherwork on “The Journey,” there’s one major issue that fans of the show are having with it.
The photos show a lot of ink, but it looks like it’s not fully dry.
“The Legend” star and producer Bryan Konietzko was quick to clarify the issue when asked about it, saying that the work in the photo is “dry,” but that he’s planning on having it dried for later.
The problem is that the ink is not completely dry and is still wet, Konietos statement says.
The problem is, this photo is the first time we’ve seen the series episode “The Quest,” where the crew was forced to wear leather seats for safety reasons.
Fans are still wondering if the leather seats will actually be worn again, but this issue is likely to linger for some time.
The issue is a bit of a stretch considering the episode “Loyalty,” which featured the introduction of the new leather seats, featured the first use of the paint.
While the series has seen plenty of creative uses of the iconic metal, Konios statement also notes that the process used for the painting process “isn’t exactly the same as using paint.”
The “Legend” team has stated that “the paint is not fully dried” before, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
